Transfreight AG is an owner-managed, globally operating freight forwarding and logistics company founded in 1980, headquartered in Basel, with branches in Geneva and Germany (Kleinostheim), employing around 100 staff members within our group.

In addition to worldwide air and sea freight activities, daily or regular European line and system traffic are core competencies of our company. Our specialties include comprehensive general cargo, part load, and full load transports to and from Germany, Scandinavia, UK, Benelux, Italy, and Turkey.

We also maintain daily direct connections to and from the seaports of Antwerp, Rotterdam, Hamburg, and Bremen, as well as the port of Koper SLO (2-3 times a week). In this service, we also work for many forwarding companies and NVOCCs who load their LCL shipments with us. We are members and partly shareholders in powerful cooperations and have a global partner network. This ensures that your goods, whether large or small, arrive safely and on time at their destination, whether by road, rail, air, or sea.

In Germany, we are represented by our wholly-owned subsidiary, Transfreight Deutschland GmbH, in the heart of the Rhine-Main region, with direct access to the A45/A3, at the location in DE-63801 Kleinostheim. We have our own modern fleet, spacious storage and handling areas, and can offer all services from a single source. Additionally, at Transfreight Deutschland GmbH, we have extensive customs expertise and prepare ABD, T1/T2 transit documents, ATR, and EUR1 for our customers, partners, and groupage networks in export.

In Switzerland, incoming and outgoing groupage shipments are consolidated via the logistics and distribution platforms in Basel, Zurich and Geneva, where we are customs receivers and senders (ZE/ZV). Customs clearance is carried out at all locations by our own customs declarants.
